Chapter 3

In chapter three the things that I’ll remember the most is that the kennewick man helped anthropoligist understand some of the early humans. What i leaned is that kennewick man was only 10,000 years old and the latest humans we have find has been way older than the kennewick man is. This is an important part of our history becasue it shows how much older some of the places are in he world.

what I have leanred so far in chapter 1 and 2 is that there was more than one megaflood that happened over a course of 20,000 years. I have also learned that the Rainshadow effect is an important climate phenomenon of washington state. Another thing that i have learned so far is that the puget lowlands holds most of washingtons population and the second most marine life too.

The thing i think i did best on is writing about my individual. I think this becuase i found alot of facts about him which made it easy for me to write about him. I think i could have improved on writing a little more detail on the background because its not that filled with detail mainly. If i could do it over again i would have worked on it more at home becuase just working on it at school doesnt give me time to really think, i just put it on the page as where at home i can think about it instead of just putting it on the page. I liked being able to use google becuase if i just had to get it out of a book then i dont get enough information. I didnt like using diigo because whenever i tried going to my library it wont give me all the info that i had put in my library.

Muhammad Book Reflection

What I think I did well on was the firt ch. (8.3) but the rest of it i think i did pretty bad. I also think i did good on the arabic words( which i wrote with a caligraphy pen). Another thing that i did ok on was my table of contents.something that i would change on my book is everything except for the table of contents the arabic words and ch. 8.3. I learned a lot about how Muhammad influenced the people of the Arabian Peninsula. Like what he did to get the makkan people to give up their gods. Also how he had so many people follow his message from god and how the numbers of people that now follow him still.

I would rather have ch. quizzes becuase on the projects takie time and i forget the info after a while. Also I think i get better grades on the quizzes than the projects. Another thing is that when i do the projects i tend to be a little slopy and won`t do as well as on the quizzes.

Time Travel

Hi my name is Blake i’m here in 600 c.e in the Arabian peninsula. I am going to give you some tips on how to live here in the Arabian peninsula. First of all you are going to need a water source in the desert such as a deep well. Also you are going to need thin clothing so you keep cool because it gets to the hundreds down her (wheew)! Another thing your going to need is a camel because they can be used to sell, to eat, for milk and for carying things. In the oases your also going to need some kind of irrigation system. Your a central trading place so I guess you could build a trading post for nomads. For the mountains I suggest you build a terrace. With this terrace you would be able to farm which is another main thing your going to need (a farm). The last thing you might need in the mountains would be a house because during the winter it can get pretty cold; so cold there is frost. Well to wrap up this report i’m going to tell you what your going to need in the coastal plains. Like always your going to need an irrigation system such as a dam or irrigation pipe. You could also farm but you would need to get the water for the plants from the dried up riverbeds or from reserved rainwater. Well thats all for you this is Blake here in 600 c.e saying good night and farewell.

The First Trimester Report

The first Trimester has gone good for me.  I`ve learned alot in S.S and Science like the layers of the GC(grand canyon) also i`ve learned what life was like for people that were living in the Middle Ages. I`ve also learned alot in L.A like how to think of yellows(topics) faster than i used tom also how to make my writing more exciting for the reader. I`ve done well in all the classes except for L.A mainly because of reading counts because i didn’t start reading counts until like the last six weeks of the trimester. But i’m prepared for the next trimester. I’m am going to start the reading counts earlier so i don’t have to rush myself in to it. So thats all thanks for listening.
